Hello fellow anglers, I am Captain Jim Samia and I was born in 1955 and started fishing at a very early age with my father and grand father. I took such enjoyment from being outdoors hunting and fishing that I based my college education around it. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1979 with a bachelors of science degree cum laude in Natural Resource Studies. Emphasis was placed upon Fisheries and wildlife courses which have helped me to become much more aware of my surroundings both aquatic and terrestrial.

I believe this gives me an advantage to help my clients enjoy the best of what the great outdoors has to offer. I have been a US CG licensed and insured Captain for over 13 yrs.( Don't like to use exact time numbers because we have to change them every year). I have been featured on Outdoor TV shows which included Outdoors with Bob Coker and also New York Outdoors TV show as seen on the Sportsman channel and Versus.
