Hudson River striper report

Here is our Hudson river striper report. Fishing on the Hudson River for striper bass has been good to stellar most days. Over the last two weeks our charter clients have boated four stripers over the magic 40″ mark along with mostly all others falling in the 32-39.5″ range. We have had several double digit days as well. Here are some photos:

Hudson River striper report from our Fishing charters

As the season progresses we will do our best to include more Hudson river striper fishing reports As many of you may know, our fishing consists mainly of catching our own bait via River Alewives or Blue back herring and then fishing these baits for striped bass.

We will be adding more photos into our gallery as time permits.

I’d like to thank you for the awesome day. We landed 11 stripers and were lucky enough to land one that we were able to keep. Jeff, the deckhand, was great. He kept our baits fresh and kept us fishing the whole time. Captain Jim kept us on the fish the whole trip. It was definitely a memoriable day.
    Thanks again,
    The fireman from Norfolk.

My “cousin” Chris Tomchik and I fished with Capt. Jimmy on May 10, 2016. We had a fantastic day–10 striped bass boated in under 4 hours and another 4 or 5 missed. Chris boated a keeper over 40 inches! Mate Jeff was excellent–worked very hard to keep us in bait, netting/boating fish, and providing tips. I recommend Capt. Jim and Ace Charters most highly.
