2026 Lake Ontario fishing, what can I say. Phenomenal outings occurring most days with full racks of salmon or trout.
What a year it has been fishing out of Oswego,NY for trophy trout and salmon. Every outing presented ample opportunities to batlle and capture these fish. What seemed to be lacking in overall size more than made up for it in total action. Double digit bites being the norm, our clients did very well with all the action. Whether it was june for trophy browns or even early season salmon, Oswego had it all. Add to it, the abundance of one and two year old fish can only mean the subsequent following years should bode well!
Our New Charter Boat
The Ace III performed as expected after, as well as during us working the kinks out of a new to us vessel. We were able to blow right through two and three foot waves both going out to and returning from the fishing grounds. This gave our clients that much more fishing time as well as overall comfort. There is something to be said about the Tiara’s build and creature comforts. With a full size head and running hot water, women and children were afforded comforts not usually found on other charter boats. Our physically challenged clients enjoyed the spacious cockpit and seating arrangements, as well.
Thanks To Our Sponsors
I would be remiss without a shoutout to our many sponsors and companoes that have supported us over the years. These include Atommik, Dreamweaver, Rapala, Gibbs, Northern Troller, Mason Wire, Sal-Eye Fishing,Owner Hooks, Mustad Hooks, and Ande Fishing Line. Their support is most valuable and keeps us going in a very challenging busines climate.
2027 Outlook
We are excited looking forward to next years fishing season on Lake Ontario (Lake America). As previously mentioned, there were many juvenille fish in the ecosystem. These fish all appeared to be in good shape, size, and healthy looking. Bait populations were also in abundance through out the season. Many of our clients are repeats and to that end, our calendar is in great shape. We will be honoring 2026 pricing until the first of the year. Give us a call or text us at 413-346-7675 or email us at acecharters36@gmail.com to book for 2027 and beat the price increase!!
