We just finished uploading pictures of our 2026 LakeOntario fishing season highlighting our many successful clients. While doing so, it brought back memories of a great fishery we get to enjoy. Many smiles and happy faces remind me of why I love this job so much. In fact, I don’t think of it as a job, but more of a life style. As I age, I continue to pray and hope that I’ll be able to continue to do what I love. as of now, all is good. You can click fishing pics 2026 to take you to the pictures from 2026!!
Lake Ontario 2026 Charter Fishing Pics
The New Boat
Ace Charters III appeared on the seen this year. Being a new to us boat, a few kinks had to be worked out, but were well taken care of almost immediately. We have exciting plans for the upcoming 2027 season. These include a brand new pair of Garmin 9213xsv Mutifunction displays . The set up will include the Garmin 24x Fantom radar and 24xd position sensor. This will provide for radar overlay on the charts for added safety in navigation for both in the fog as well as darkness on our early morning runs and late evening returns. Also, a Airmar B75M thruhull transducer will be installed this spring. With chirp technology, and flush hull mounting, marking bait and fish on plain wil be possible.
Pricing
Fran and I talked it over and decided to keep the 2026 Pricing until the end of this year for those who have returened and rebooked, as well as those seeking to book before the end of this year. So far we are impressed with the fuel economy offered by the twin Cummins diesels on board. They are much more efficient in fuel economy than comparible gas engines. By the start of next season, the Cummins should be right up to snuff with all the proper maintainence done prior to launch. This includes servicing after coolers and heat exchangers along with new water pumps from SMX. Although we had initial overheating issues, those were put to bed and reconciled almost immediately. There were no issues through out the season once we took care of them. Many thanks to my stellar mate Eric Wilsey and mechanic Kevin Rooky for diagnosing and fixing what needed to be done. I must include my Buddy and fill in mate Bob Patte as well.
